If it's difficult for you to be objective, ask a friend or colleague to perform this task and give you their honest opinion.2. Is the ROI from your website low compared to the number of visitors you are receiving? This could mean you need to highlight the benefits of your products versus those of your competitors or offer an incentive to your customers. Read more..

Increase your Adsense CTR by 20 for free
DATE: 07/05/2007 / MOOD: happy
By: Pete Drew Because if you choose the wrong person to view your website.. even if you have found that great niche, with TONS of searches per month, and very little competition, if you have spent time considering the surfer who will be visiting your website.. your CTR could be way down. An Example.. say you found a great Adsense Marketing related niche. That means your adsense surfer is an adsense marketer. These adsense marketers may find your website, because it has little competition. But do you really think that an adsense marketer is going to click on Google Ads? No matter how well they are blended into your website and prominently placed? I don?t think so. Compare this adsense surfer to this one below.. You find using your, great adsense niche for lets say teen girl clothing. So your adsense surfer is most likely a teenage girl looking for clothing online. There is a MUCH higher chance that she will see advertising presented by your Google Ads and click on a suitable advertisement. These are two exaggerated examples, though give you an idea what I'm talking about. hen my keyword software displays my great set of golden nugget niches, I'll grab the top 50 niches / keywords and then quickly check each of them individually. To see if any of these fall into the category of non clickers. e.g adsense marketers, any niches that the surfer appears to have a lot of online experience, or are very technically oriented. if there are any niches like this I'll add them to a separate list, that i'll make more suitable affiliate websites for.

on the ads. or search results pages. Another new addition is the Google
Adsense Referrals Feature , whereby you can generate additional income
by displaying Google?s Referral Buttons on your web pages.
Adsense Tip: How to get started with Google Adsense:
You have to apply to Google Adsense by completing an online application form at https://www.google.com/adsense.
Once the application is approved, you will be able to participate. You
then have to copy and paste a HTML code that is provided by Google

Adsense Tip: Where to place Google Adsense ads. in your Website.
The Adsense ads. can be placed anywhere in your web pages, but
there are specific areas in your web pages that are recommended by

According to Google and our own experience: Ads placed above the fold tend to perform better than those below the fold.
Ads placed near rich content and navigational aids usually do well because users are focused on those areas of a page.
Ads placed at the top of the page and at the left generally perform better than others.
Ads at the bottom of long articles and those that are integrated or merge with the content too perform very well.
Of course there are other strategies, such as creating high
paying keyword content pages to suit individual sites and also
generating more traffic to your site. These have to be implemented too,
to ensure success.

some who have made the Adsense Program as the main source of income.
Which ever way you look at it the Adsense Program is a happy hunting
ground for all and these Tips can help you get started.

Earn Real Money On The Internet Through Google Adsense
DATE: 07/03/2007 / MOOD: other
A lot of people are doubted about income on internet. I was doubted too until I got my first Google Adsense Check of $100. While CPC/PPC (Cost-per-click/Pay-per-click) is at its best, everyone should make the most of this opportunity. There are a lot of ways money can be earned on internet. From my experience, money can be earned in following ways: * Selling product and services * CPC/PPC * AffiliatesSelling Products and services: If you are skilled enough and you make products or provide specialized services, you can sell them on internet and make a lot of money. For example, if you are a lawyer or you provide law services of any kind, you can sell them and earn thousands over internet. Affiliates: You can make a regular website and put other company product banners on your webpages. You will be given a particular URL to put on those banners. Visitors when click those banners, they get redirected to the banner website. You get paid either for clicks or if they purchase the product, you get paid a commission. You may signup for affiliation with clickbank.com, commissionjunction.com, etc.CPC/PPC: This is HOT topic these days. You can earn a LOT of money from various programs like Google Adsense, Bidvertiser, Clicksor, Adbrite, Chitika, etc. All these companies have been tested and they DO pay. Most of these companies offer two types of services: For advertisers and for publishers. If you want to advertise your product, you can signup for an advertising account with top companies like google, bidvertiser, adbrite, clicksor, etc.CPC/PPC is the easiest and google adsense is best for CPC. Google pays the most out of all CPC/PPC programs. I started with google adsense in November 2005. I learned a lot of tools through out the process, however, there are several sources on internet where you can get google adsense ready websites. All you have to do is purchase hosting space and upload your adsense ready pages. I continuously made little money until mid of 2006. I got a lot of help from www.AdsenseSecretsExposed.com I learned the tips and tricks to organize ads in my webpages to earn maximum revenue. Google also provide advertising of your pages and the cost of advertising starts as low as 1 cent per click. While you use adsense codes on your pages, it is very important to review terms and conditions of Google adsense program. Its a competitive world, sooner you start, sooner you will start earning. I earn anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500 every month through adsense. I'm running 2 websites at the moment which have around 30 pages and planning to work on more websites. If you can make thousands of pages, imagine how much money can you make. Hope this information opens up some doors for you. Happy monetizing your website.By: Mike Bouls

Intenet Marketing For Your Small Business
DATE: 07/01/2007 / MOOD: don't know
A decade ago, the internet wasn?t considered an important part of a small business marketing strategy. Today, it?s paramount. That doesn?t mean that your small business marketing strategy has to include a lavish 25-page website with sounds, flash movies, and thousand-dollar graphics. It doesn?t mean that you have to spend $5.77 per click to advertise under the keywords ?small business marketing? on Google. It does mean that you need to understand, at the very least, what the internet can do for your small business marketing. To gain that understanding, you?ll need to learn about the four most fundamental pillars of internet small business marketing: 1) websites; 2) search engine optimization; 3) pay-per-click advertising; and 4) affiliate marketing.WebsitesWebsites are the foundation of the Internet. So the logical first step in developing your internet small business marketing strategy is to set up a website. Unless you?re incredibly tech savvy or have a large budget to spend on your internet small business marketing, you?d be better off starting simple. To begin, think about what small business marketing goals you want to accomplish with your website:?Do you want to tell potential customers about your products or services??Do you want customers to be able to buy directly from your site??Do you want to offer visitors valuable information??Do you plan to use your website to reach outside of your current network or primarily to communicate with the contacts you already have?No matter what small business marketing goals you want to accomplish with your site, at the very least you?ll have to register your domain name (your website ?address?) and sign up with a web hosting service.Search engine optimizationThe cheapest way to optimize your small business marketing website strategy is through search engine optimization (SEO). To understand SEO, first think about how visitors will find your site. There are three principle ways:1. They?ll know your web address already (perhaps they got it off your business card or other small business marketing materials) and they?ll simply type it in on the address line2. They?ll find your website through a link they found somewhere on the Internet3. They?ll search in one of the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN) for a keyword or key phrase that relates to your business. In internet small business marketing, the trick lies in getting your website to rank on the first (or even second, or third) page of results that come up when a visitor runs a keyword search. Search engine optimization is the art of doing just that. The most powerful way to improve your search page rankings (and, thereby, your small business marketing results) is to have relevant keywords embedded throughout your site?s content.Pay-per-click advertisingStrategically placing relevant keywords in your site content and having other pages link to yours are called ?organic? ways to improve your search engine ranking. Another way to maximize the effectiveness of your internet small business marketing strategy is to pay for advertising on the search engines. The principle behind pay-per-click advertising programs (like Google?s AdWords) is that you pay to have your website address and a brief ad displayed with the organic results of web visitors? searches. For example, for $5.77 per click you can have your website address and ad appear on the first, second or third pages on Google when users type in the key phrase ?small business marketing.? As with all advertising, the most popular keywords are more expensive than the less popular ones.Affiliate marketingWhere pay-per-click advertising is a non-organic way to get your website listed on search pages, affiliate marketing is a non-organic way to get other sites to link to yours. The principle behind this small business marketing tool is that you advertise your site on other websites and each time someone clicks through to your site from that other site, you pay your ?affiliate? site a fee. Affiliate marketing works both ways, too: you can allow related businesses to advertise on your site and earn a commission when viewers click through.Whatever method you choose for your online small business marketing strategy, it?s becoming increasingly important that you have an online presence. Those businesses that don?t may well get left in the dust.By: Brandt Stohr

7 Successful Stress Management Techniques
DATE: 06/29/2007 / MOOD: other
Everyone needs successful stress management techniques. Easy to learn and easy to implement, you can use them for your own stress management or teach them to help others manage theirs. Manage your stress and be a healthier, happier and more pleasant person to be around. Let?s cut to the chase? 1. Make stress your friend Acknowledge that stress is good and make stress your friend! Based on the body?s natural ?fight or flight? response, that burst of energy will enhance your performance at the right moment. I?ve yet to see a top sportsman totally relaxed before a big competition. Use stress wisely to push yourself that little bit harder when it counts most. 2. Stress is contagious Stressed people sneeze stress germs indiscriminately and before you know it, you are infected with stress germs too! Protect yourself from stress germs by recognising stress in others and limiting your contact with them. Or if you?ve got the inclination, play stress doctor and teach them how to better manage their stress. 3. Copy good stress managers When people around are losing their head, which keeps calm? What are they doing differently? What is their attitude? What language do they use? Are they trained and experienced? Figure it out from afar or sit them down for a chat. Learn from the best stress managers and copy what they do. 4. Use heavy breathing. You can trick your body into relaxing by using heavy breathing. Breathe in slowly for a count of 7 then breathe out for a count of 11. Repeat the 7-11 breathing until your heart rate slows down, your sweaty palms dry off and things start to feel more normal. 5. Stop stress thought trains It is possible to tangle yourself up in a stress knot all by yourself. ?If this happens, then that might happen and then we?re all up the creek!? Most of these things never happen, so why waste all that energy worrying needlessly? Give stress thought-trains the red light and stop them in their tracks. Okay so it might go wrong ? how likely is that, and what can you do to prevent it? 6. Know your stress hot spots and trigger points Presentations, interviews, meetings, giving difficult feedback, tight deadlines??. My heart rate is cranking up just writing these down! Make your own list of stress trigger points or hot spots. Be specific. Is it only presentations to a certain audience that get you worked up? Does one project cause more stress than another? Did you drink too much coffee? Knowing what causes you stress is powerful information, as you can take action to make it less stressful. Do you need to learn some new skills? Do you need extra resources? Do you need to switch to de-caffeinated coffee? 7. Eat, drink, sleep and be merry! Lack of sleep, poor diet and no exercise wreaks havoc on our body and mind. Kind of obvious, but worth mentioning as it?s often ignored as a stress management technique. Listen to your mother and don?t burn the candle at both ends! And those are the 7 successful stress management techniques! Take time to learn them, use them and teach them, and be a great stress manager. By: Lyndsay Swinton
