Things That Make You Want To Scream Part Four
DATE: 07/20/2007 / MOOD: other
1. Most sites these days have those annoying questions or letter/number combinations you have to enter before you are able to login to the site. I understand why they were put in place, but must we really have to deal with them each time we are trying to login? 2. You are renting your home. You are having problems with something and get in contact with your landlord. The landlord says they'll be over to fix the problem the following day. That following day turns into a week, that week turns into two. You get tired of waiting and call up the landlord again to see what is going on, and the landlord seems to have suffered from a bout of acute memory loss and doesn't recall ever having a conversation with you about said problem. 3. Being pestered enough that you give in and do something you just don't feel up to doing. 4. You ask someone a question, expecting to get a straight forward answer. Instead you get a bunch of mumble gumbo that has nothing to do with the originally asked question. 5. Trying to have a normal chat with someone online and all they are wanting to do is talk about things that two strangers should not be talking about. 6. Finding out that the person you though to be your best friend was spreading untrue rumors about you. Even though you caught them in the act of doing such, they still try to deny ever doing it.

Political Correctness
DATE: 07/18/2007 / MOOD: don't know
What happened to the days where one could speak to another without someone butting in and correcting every little thing one says? These days it seems to be a growing trend, that unless you say every little detail in the correct manner, you are basically wrong in what you are saying or you get labeled as someone who is passing along false information. It just about ticks me off when I am trying to talk to someone, than have a third person , in which me or a friend may not know, come along and correct every sentence, phrase, or word that is being spoken. Grr! Whoever deemed everything should be spoken in a politically correct fashion should be buried somewhere deep within a cave somewhere far away from humanity. Ok I do believe that in some form when passing along information of an important nature it should be correct in every way imaginable, but when having just any old conversation, like say about your favorite band or musician, every little detail does not need to be placed within the conversation. If that were the case I would get really bored with talking in general.

Things That Make You Want To Scream Part Three
DATE: 07/17/2007 / MOOD: don't know
1. You have a nice vacation all planned out. You think it's going to be a lovely, calm drive, but somewhere along the lines you end up getting lost. You stop for directions and though you follow the directions, you were given, to the letter you some how manage to drive 120 miles in the wrong direction. That once calm drive is now an argument just waiting to happen, and you still have that 120 miles still to back track on, not to mention the ever present question kids pose "Are we there yet?" asked about a billion times during the back tracking you have to do. 2. Working hours on end on something very important, just at the moment you try to save your work, your computer decides at that precise moment to be a stubborn mule, and just don't wish to work correctly anymore. Than once you think you have your hard work saved, the computer decides to freeze and your work is lost anyways. 3. Having friends that are fighting, than during that fight having them trying to get you to pick a side. Though despite your best efforts to stay out of it some how you are pulled into the middle of it anyway. 4. You have a mother-in-law that thinks your house is her personal storage. Despite telling her that you are running out of room for even your own stuff, she still continues to bring boxes full of her stuff over. You try to bring the matter up with her, but she manages to make you feel bad about it. 5. Out driving around trying to get a few errands accomplished. Throughout that time there is inevitably two to three idiots that feel it is necessary to wait till you are just about to them, before they pull out in front of you. Which causes you to stomp on your brakes and hope to god that the person behind you, that is following just a tad bit to close, doesn't rear end you.

1. Wanting to get something done, but your mind keeps wandering to other things, besides what your are suppose to be working on at the moment. 2. Getting up in the middle of the night having to go to the bathroom, during the process of stumbling around in the dark you manage to not only stub your toe once, but twice. Than once you do get to the bathroom you find that you no longer have to go. 3. Continually hearing about things one just doesn't care to be hearing about anymore (ex. The whole Paris Hilton deal, or just celebrities in general) 4. Putting something down for only a moment, than when you are wanting said item again, it has been moved and you spend hours looking for it. 5. Spending hours getting an area of the house organized, than having someone come through and in only a matter of what may seem a second, having them undo what you just organized. 6. Telling your significant other to turn off the television when he leaves for work on a daily basis, but in spite of what you have asked him to do, he still leaves without turning the television off. ~*~ More to come as I think of them ~*~

What's The Deal?
DATE: 07/02/2007 / MOOD: other
Following only a matter of days after the London bomb threat the Kosair Children's Hospital in Lousiville, Kentucky was evacuated after a bomb threat was called in and suspicious packages were found in two different areas of the hospital. Later, after the packages were inspected, they were found to be just a hoax. No matter how much I flip it this way or that way, I can't think of reason why such people would want to call in such a hoax. Especially in an era where we are facing a raise in school shootings, actual bomb threats, and much more that is leading us down a path of almost mass hysteria and fear. Do these people feel that it will give them some sort of notarity by doing such acts? That cause people to be afraid for their lives. After the school shooting in Virgina, not even a whole day passed before kids and adults were mimicking and calling in and sending in false notes about committing a similar act towards another such school. It really makes one shake their head and really wonder where the heck this world is going. I fail to see the point of such acts, or even mimicking such violent acts. Please someone help me understand the point behind such acts.

Things That Make One Want To Scream!

1. Not receiving a bill til after it is due, than having the utility company or whatever the bill was for not give a dang and still add on a late charge. In which you have to pay or else said utility gets shut off and/or have a bill collector screaming at you. 2. Computer problems. I don't know how many actually deal with this, but since I share my computer with others in the family, and really can't control where they go and what they do with the computer. I get left with cleaning up the errors, crashes and so forth. Really a nice way to brighten ones day. NOT! 3. Receiving mail which is not yours on a daily basis. And here I thought it was the postal services job to make sure everyone got their mail. Apparently it is now up to certain people not associated with the postal service to make sure individuals get their mail. 4. Being rudely awakened at one in the morning, by someone repeatedly pounding on the door. Geesh take the hint no one is going to answer the door for crying out loud. And by the way no one with the name of Susan lives here.

Making Money Isn't Always As Easy As It Seems
DATE: 06/30/2007 / MOOD: other
Over the years that I have been in business for myself, I have come to the conclusion that what everyone has told me that "as the years pass, making money will get easier and easier as time passes" is a load of whooey. Now granted, there are certain programs out there, that do make it seem that making loads of money is a fairly simple task, but don't let them fool you. Even with such programs in place you still have a fair amount of work ahead of you to make the programs work to their full potential, so you can generate the supposed amount that was promised. And when one is going about things a lone, it creates one monsterous schedule that unless you don't stick with, nothing gets accomplished and no money is made. I have been in business for going on nearly 5 years and my days are filled with much that needs to be accomplished, and let me tell you it is no easy task. Now it may have been an easy task if in fact I had other people working with me or for me, but even then a fair amount of work is still involved. No making money is by and far never easy to make, unless of course one is just having money handed to them, which I don't know many that just have money handed to them. Getting into referrals even if you are part of one these programs which offer such, as many would like to say it is fairly easy to keep them, it really isn't. Everything in general takes a great quantity of work to keep moving forward and keeping referrals interested and working to keep generate a substantial money flow. But than again this is just my opinion, it may be entirely different through someone else's eyes.
