Wrinkle Recipes As Old as Dirt

Ancient Egyptians used a combination of frankincense, wax, fresh balanites oil, and rush nuts in a viscous liquid and applied it every day in hopes of removing wrinkles. I wonder if they were any more successful that we are today?

It's Saturday and you should be playing... that's what lead me to the idea for this entry. When was the last time you played with your hair?? Not simply pulled it up into a pony tail, but really put it into rollers, or flat ironed it so that you had a brand new style? To be honest, I tend to wash, dry and then flat iron my hair to get all of the curl out. Maybe I will go looking for my rollers... I know that I have some somewhere?? wash, condition and pre-dry my hair before putting in some rollers. I'm kind of tired of my straight hair anyway!!

Black Christmas Trees

I have been waiting for Black Christmas trees for about five years now. I first spotted on in an English department store and it looked unbelieveable. If you are looking for that formal Christmas tree... this is it. What every your accent color is to be, the black sets it off perfectly!!
And just in case you are wondering... yes, Christmas is going to be here in a blink of an eye!

*Makeup Brushes
Choose art brushes to apply your makeup. They are cheaper, better quality that some makeup brushes and last longer. Have you noticed how expensive makeup brushes can be?? And if you buy the cheaper varieties, the hairs simply fall out as you use it. That dives me nuts!!

Where Your Fruit Bowl Should Sit

I was just reading that there is a specific place where your fruit bowl should sit in your kitchen!! So, that's where I have been going wrong. It is supposed to sit in an East corner and mine has been sitting in a north corner.
And with all the problems we have been having with this house, just maybe some of it is my fault?? Nah, I'm going to blame in on poor workmanship. But just to be on the safe side, I'm going to move that fruit bowl!!

About After Bite

Morning everyone... just a word of advice. Don't go exploring in the woods if you have exposed skin. I did that (and without bug spray I might add) and I'm sure that about a zillion mosquitos spotted me within minutes.
At the moment, I have about ten bites per arm. I guess it could be worse, but that's a lot of bites that you aren't supposed to scratch. What is odd is that none of the bites showed up until 24 hours later. That night I itched non stop all night. Invested in a tube of After Bite and it helped a little. At least I was able to sleep last night. Not sure if it was the "itch eraser" or that they are slowly healing or whatever mosquito bites do!
Going to have to re-think this hiking thing!!

Bringing a Little Luck To Your Garden

Apparently, if your garden is overgrown, it is preventing luck from entering your life, not to mention your garden. So, what do you have to lose?? Get out there and start pruning away. Not only will your garden respond, you just might find yourself with an extra bit of luck!!
And did I mention that working in the garden will also burn some calories? ;)
