SOMETIME

Sometime, oh how I wish, that I was a dove,

so I can fly high above,

and forget all my hurt and pain,

because I know that if I don’t I will go insane.

Sometime oh how I wish, that born I was not

because in my chest, I have a big knot.

This knot seems to not go completely away

because in my heart, it seems to always lay.

Sometime when i think that all is fine

then the pain and hurt spread to my mind.

Will I be forever more not worthy of?

To even be at peace like a dove.

That has found a resting place,

Forever more will that not be my case.
