The Adams Lake Salmon Run
I wrote the story, The Adams Lake Salmon Run, after visiting Adams Lake, BC in September of last year and witnessing the most spectacular event that I have ever seen. It was totally awesome to see the amount of sockeye salmon that were in that lake. There were hundreds of them, if not thousands and the size of them, too. I bet some of them were a good 25 pounds and about three or even four feet long. The whole salmon ordeal is absolutely amazing to witness. I mean they travel from the Pacific Ocean to Adams Lake, which is hundreds of miles upstream, to lay their eggs and die. I am not sure what the point to it is but, nonetheless, it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
