Like it or not, the general internet community has a bit of a bad
impression about affiliate marketing. Don’t get me wrong, I think
that this perception is a bit of a misperception, but marketers
are not always looked upon favorably by others in the internet
community.
In all reality, affiliate marketers have themselves to blame. After
all, we are being judged by our actions and the perception of our
actions, and it is the actions of many affiliate marketers that make
affiliate marketing appear to be…well…not much better than an
ambulance chasing lawyer or a pushy used car sales person.
There are a lot of things marketers do, that if done in the wrong
way, can be an immediate turn off. Obviously the goal of any
marketer is to get someone to listen to their message – not walk
away. So what is it that affiliate marketers do that gives others a
bad impression of marketers?
